Annie and Chris tied the knot on a beautiful Sunday in May at one of my all-time favorite venues Willow Creek in Waxahachie, Texas. From the very beginning, Annie was one of those brides I just clicked with. She suggested we meet at a great hole in the wall for a good cup of tea, and it felt like chatting with a girlfriend more than a client.
Annie and Chris chose to have the most awesome Engagement Session (check it out here!) amid their favorite Dallas joints and their wedding featured just as many personal touches and favorites as their Engagement Session! These two have some great style and that is so evident in their wedding day!
Kevin Edmonson with Accent Floral did an amazing job decking out Willow Creek to the nines! One of my favorite mantel displays ever. I love the incorporation of multiple generations of family members. Such a personal and beautiful tribute to so many successful marriages! Annie’s something borrowed was her dress, which was perfect for this low-key, stylish bride!
Morgan Leigh Burkett of Morgan Leigh Events dolled up these pretty ladies! While the girls got ready, the boys relaxed with a few rowdy rounds of Foosball! I love nothing more than First Looks! Some people prefer to stay traditional and wait to see each other, and that’s great too…. but First Looks hold a special place in my heart. And I love when they incorporate Dad 🙂 What’s better than one First Look? Two!!!! First Dad, and now Chris. Look at that smile! Ceremony Time! I just love the way Chris looks at Annie. They are both filled with so much love! Three beautiful couples! D Squared provided a beautiful set-up and delicious food! It can be really hard to choose between a band and a DJ to keep your party rolling, String and Sound always does a great job of keeping that live music party vibe and giving you some great downtime music. These guys are the best of both worlds! Annie has great style…and…taste in music! Annie and Dad busted their moves to MmmBop by Hanson! If you checked out their Engagement Session, you would know how much these two like Steel City Pops. Their guests were also huge fans of the Popsicles! Annie has this great habit that happens every single day at 8:11pm. She posts an Instagram photo every day at that exact time and her wedding day was no different! Every guest was a part of this 8:11 photo!
Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
